How do I fully open and close the handle on my Bearback?
Your Bearback is designed to operate in two positions: closed and extended. When closed, the Bearback is not only easy to store - it can be used in situations where you don't need the full extension (using it on the front of your body for example). On the other hand, full extension is desired in order reach your back with ideal control. If your new Bearback doesn't feel like it does not want to open or close all the way, just grab it close to both sides of the hinge and give it a little extra pressure - it will pop into place!
How do I remove the foam roller from the Bearback Lotion Applicator?
While you can easily clean your foam roller while it is still attached, you will want to periodically remove your roller for replacement. The roller is designed to be removed and exchanged easily. Simply grab one side of the roller head with one hand and grab the foam roller with the other. Pull both hands gently in opposite directions and the roller will release.
How do I remove and attach accessories?
Bearback offers a variety of attachments to help put back and body self-care within reach. As of this writing, available attachments include a Scratcher, a Lotion Applicator, a Massage Roller, and a Dry Brush. These attachments are designed to be interchanged easily.

Can the Bearback Lotion Applicator be used to apply treatments such as CBD, BioFreeze, and other topical solutions?
Yes - 100%. A large number of Bearback Lotion Applicator customers use it specifically to apply topical solutions such as CBD, BioFreeze, Bio-Oil and a wide-range of other popular ointments. In fact, it has proven to be a great tool in the on-going battle for pain relief!
Is the Bearback Lotion Applicator good for tattoo aftercare?
Yes - in fact, after getting a new tattoo it is recommended that you apply a layer of antibacterial ointment twice a day. You should also wash the area gently twice a day - and apply a moisturizer or ointment. This process should be repeated for 2-4 weeks. Many of our customers have found the Bearback Lotion Applicator to be perfect tool for their tattoo aftercare needs!
Is the Bearback Lotion Applicator helpful for applying sunscreen?
Abolutely! Rather than using an aerosol based sunscreen which largely sprays everywhere but where you need it, you can use the Bearback Lotion Applicator to apply sunscreen directly to your back - or anywhere else - without getting sunscreen all over your hands!
How long should a single Lotion Roller last?
This is heavily dependent on usage and cleaning - but a typical roller should last for at least a month of regular use.
What is the best way to clean the Lotion Roller?
Run the foam roller head under hot water and squeeze it until the excess water is out. Leave in open area to dry.
Is it easy to remove the Lotion Roller for cleaning or replacement?

My skin is sensitive, will the Bearback Scratcher damage my skin?
Not at all. The Bearback Back & Body Scratcher was designed to be tough on itches and gentle on skin. The flexible bristles have rounded tips and together they provide a wonderfully invigorating sensation that will not tear your skin!
Why not just get a cheap "claw" scratcher rather than a Bearback scratcher?
Cheap "claw" style scratchers do not provide near the level of blissful satisfaction that you'll get with the Bearback. Additionally, the cheap scratchers risk damaging your skin and tend to break after only a few uses. What is the best way to use the Bearback Massage Roller?
The Bearback Massage Roller feels amazing on sore muscles. The Massage Roller is most effective when the handle is in a closed position. This position enables you to apply appropriate pressure to get muscle relief where you need it.
