Your Bearback is designed to operate in two positions:  closed and extended.  When closed, the Bearback is not only easy to store - it can be used in situations where you don't need the full extension (using it on the front of your body for example).  On the other hand, full extension is desired in order reach your back with ideal control.  If your new Bearback doesn't feel like it does not want to open or close all the way, just grab it close to both sides of the hinge and give it a little extra pressure - it will pop into place!  

Bearback offers a variety of attachments to help put back and body self-care within reach.  As of this writing, available attachments include a Scratcher, a Lotion Applicator, a Massage Roller, and a Dry Brush.  These attachments are designed to be interchanged easily.

Abolutely!  Rather than using an aerosol based sunscreen which largely sprays everywhere but where you need it, you can use the Bearback Lotion Applicator to apply sunscreen directly to your back - or anywhere else - without getting sunscreen all over your hands!

The Bearback Back & Body Scratcher will not damage even the most sensitive skin.  The Bearback Back & Body Scratcher was designed to be tough on itches and gentle on skin.  The flexible bristles have rounded tips and together they provide a wonderfully invigorating sensation that will not harm your skin!

Cheap "claw" style scratchers do not provide near the level of blissful satisfaction that you'll get with the Bearback Back & Body Scratcher.  Additionally, the cheap scratchers risk damaging your skin and tend to break after only a few uses.  The Bearback Back & Body Scratcher was designed to provide many years of "tough on itches-gentle on skin" delight.  

Yes!  Any back scratcher should be cleaned regularly to maintain proper hygiene and prevent the spread of germs. Back scratchers can accumulate dead skin cells, sweat, and dirt over time, creating a breeding ground for bacteria and other microorganisms.

To clean your back scratcher, you can use soap and water to wash it thoroughly, or you can use an antibacterial wipe or spray. Make sure to dry it completely before using it again. 

The Bearback Back & Body Scratcher has skin-friendly bristles made of flexible plastic which which are incredibly easy to keep clean.

While you can easily clean your foam roller while it is still attached, you will want to periodically remove your roller for replacement.  The roller is designed to be removed and exchanged easily.  Simply grab one side of the roller head with one hand and grab the foam roller with the other.  Pull both hands gently in opposite directions and the roller will release.

Run the foam roller head under hot water and squeeze it until the excess water is out.  Leave in open area to dry.

Yes - in fact, after getting a new tattoo it is recommended that you apply a layer of antibacterial ointment twice a day.  You should also wash the area gently twice a day - and apply a moisturizer or ointment.  This process should be repeated for 2-4 weeks. Many of our customers have found the Bearback Lotion Applicator to be the perfect tool for their tattoo aftercare needs!

This is heavily dependent on usage and cleaning - but a Bearback foam lotion roller should last for at least a month of regular use.  Replacement packs are available for purchase.

Unlike other Bearback products - which are designed to be used to be used with the handle extended or collapsed - the massage roller is meant to be used in the collapsed position.  In this shorter position, you are able to get the maximum amount of pressure behind the roller.
