Best backscracher out there and I’ve tried a ton of them.

I purchased one a year ago and it broke. I love this product so much, I had to buy another one. Excellent product!!
Shawn K.
I bought it for my wife and she loved it!

Overall excellence more powerful than a traditional Chinese back scratcher. Well worth it
Sandra C.
So much better then the finger plastic scratcher I have used for years. This feels so good while it scratches the itch.
Constance B.
Love this product have one I use all the time and ordered two more for gifts
Beverly D T.
It was for my husband. He has been slow to try it - but I plan to use some wifely tricks to get him to try it. Feel sure he will love it1
George M.
Not impressed with this. Thought it was a better product.

I suffered for years trying to scratch my bony, itchy back with wooden or metal back scratches that scraped and hurt my poor vertebrae. When I got desperate and started using my bristle hair brush, I hoped someone had thought to put it on a stick. Lo and behold, Bearback has come to my rescue and made this amazingingly simple backscratcher that feels sooooo good. Totally worth the price. This may become my favorite holiday stocking stuffer this year!
Walter J.
Best back scratcher I ever had and I’ve had many. So good that I scratch my back even when it’s not itching.
Joy R.
Love the results of this brush, does not damage the skin, but gives relief to an itchy back. The handle is extra long to reach all those places needed. Gt one for my brother who has a rash from cancer treatments and he really loves it!!
JOY R.
After much research online, I purchased the BearBack brush with optional massager and lotion applicator for my brother, who is a cancer patient. Due to the toxic chemotherapy, he has a red itchy rash all over his body. This brush was a real comfort to him, especially on his back. I never heard so may "Oh's and Ah's". He loves the relief he gets from the brush without damage to his skin. And he can reach places that would be impossible with other brushes. Due to the folding curved handle this brush is absolutely the best money can buy!! Efficient and gentle, who could ask for anything more!!!
David G.
This is the best back scratcher I have found. I had no idea of the other items that fit the handle. I gave it a 4 star because I have bad shoulders, and if this device was three inches longer I could reach all of my back. There is a strip on my back that I can't reach. but it is the best for scratching backs.
Michael S.
Works fine on bare skin, zero itch satisfaction through a cotton t-shirt. Very disappointed.
Sharon J.
I have extremely dry skin and have used a typical backscratcher in the past to alleviate the itching. I now only use the Bearback back scratcher and I use it often just because the massage it provides is wonderful. I keep one in several rooms of my house, including the guest room!
Mark B.
Very good … does the job and has a long reach

I gifted this to my husband for Christmas. He quickly exclaimed that this might be the "winning gift" of the year! He loves the quality of the brush and the bristles. The retractable handle allows him to get to those hard to reach spots. Bearback was quick to ship. All in all - a wonderful experience & great product!
jim R.
The bristles were slightly too rounded for my taste but adequate and certainly not likely to scratch me. However, the semicircular ends of the insert were edged with sharply pointed triangles which could scratch if the brush got too tilted - as it sometimes did inside my shirt. I sand papered the pointed tips off and removed that hazard. Otherwise, i am quite pleased with it.

Not as good as I was hoping for. Honestly would not purchase another one
Patty E.
My husband bought me a BearBack scratcher last year; except for my husband, it's the best thing that ever happened to me!
This has become my go-to gift for people--just bought another four for Christmas 2023 gifts. There is no one who wouldn't appreciate this.
Best back scratcher ever!!

Absolutely LOVE the Bearback back scratcher! No more rubbing against trees or doorways. No more trying to direct my hubby as to where the itch is at. Plus it doesn't leave scratches on my back. Highly recommend this for anybody!
Louis P.
Best back scratcher I’ve found. Folding design works great for saving space, yet expands to a perfect length where it functions like single solid itch reliever. The gentle curve is just right for use over your whole back without contortions. Well made and should be durable -I would just settle for the back scratcher attachment, as the other options are not as effective for their purported uses (massager, bristle brush, lotion applicator may be OK for some, but for me are not at the same level of effectiveness).
So good I take it very where I travel. Would make a fantastic gift too.
Laurel C.
I love a good backscratch!
The Bearback backscratcher feels wonderful and gets to those hard to reach areas. Nicely made and sturdy. I highly recommend it!
Cyndy P.
This is the best backscratcher & lotion applicator I have ever used. I bought one for myself & another for my friend.
Plus, the customer service is great.
Barbara S.
Love this back scratcher. It reaches all the Itchy spots. I bought more as gifts. The attachments are great too.
Anne B.
Best back scratcher I’ve ever owned!!
Barbara T.
My husband has a rare skin issue and his torso is super itchy all the time. He LOVES this. Much better than a wooden back scratcher. Made his day!
Jill C.
When there was no one around to scratch my itchy back I resorted to using a plastic soup ladle - the only thing long enough to reach the itch LOL This back scratcher is excellent and I love it. It's soft enough that it doesn't hurt but absolutely scratches the itch perfectly! I'll be buying more for gifts!
Fred B.
This is my second one! The handle broke under the grip on the first one I purchased.
Wendy W.
I bought a Bearback back scratcher for my husband for his birthday. He loves it so much, I then ordered one for my older sister after she had hip surgery. Then I ordered one for my brother who always had me scratch his back when we were younger. He loves it! I would buy one for every one of my friends if I could afford it. Wonderful product!
RobinVA
It does what it's designed to do (scratch an itch), it's sturdy, and it folds up when not in use. What's not to love?
Kathy H.
The best thing about this product is that it covers a bigger area than the skinny little hand that others offer. It just feels wonderful.
Ben
I have three of these now: one for my home office, one for my office, and one for the living room (actually, I once owned a fourth, but the puppy got to it). I made the mistake of buying some cheapie knock-off and what a mistake that was. Oh, the splendor of this device. The catharsis! Who'd have thought $22 could persistently deliver such joy in a man's life? If you're like the rest of us guys who can't reach three quarters of our backs and desire consistent, reliable relief, look no further. Buy yours today.
P.S. The ad model fails in dramatic fashion; they need a burly dude with a near-climax facial expression to be accurate.
Dorothy P.
Seems like a quality product. I bought it for my son. I tried it on myself. It doesnt hurt and covers a nice amount of skin with each stroke.
Michael Merucci
This back scratcher is very simple, but works great! Couldn’t be happier. Going to buy a couple more as gifts.
snowowl
Love this product. . It allows you to scratch your back as hard as you want for itch relief without damaging skin! It appears well made and the fact the handle collapses makes it more portable.
Tara A.
Wow! This is 10 times better than the little wimpy back scratchers. The brush bristles feel amazing, and I’m a forever fan. This would be a great stocking stuffer!
frsLVI
Product is as described and performs as expected. The handle could stand to be arched a little more to more easily get to the middle and lower back.
JK
The cooler weather is creating dry skin itch for me. This back scratcher is perfect. It covers a lot of area, and the bristles are soft but firm ---- allows for perfect pressure to scratch my back. You know how some shower brushes are just too flimsy and soft, they don't do a thing to relieve an itch. This is not like that. I'm also buying more to use as gifts.
Debbie Fox
I am going to buy another one - best back scratcher I've ever had
slcRN71
I used to use a hair brush similar to the one on this item because it worked best for my extreme itchiness, I have very dry skin and the meds that I take can cause itchiness (side effect not allergy, as there is no rash, hives, breathing issues). My back issues hinder reaching areas like I used to be able to get to. The long handle (that folds in half) makes it so much easier to use on all over my itchy skin arrears. Oh my, my body responds by increasing endorphins (which result in a very pleasurable feeling) !! I’ve bought a second one that I can use in the tub or shower and I bought one for my very tall son-in-law.
Barbara Bailey
The rubber “fingers” don’t hurt my skin or even make it red, yet it relieves even my most persistent itches.
I have a neurogenic skin problem which causes severe
itching; if I scratch the itch, I break out in a rash. I don’t break out if I use this Back Scratcher! It has been a lifesaver!!
Slickdog
This is SO much better than those stupid bamboo back scratchers, which are like getting a massage from a wolverine. This "Bearback" (why 'bearback'? Who knows?) is just perfect. The size of the head, the firm but not scratchy fingers, the folding handle - oh just buy it. I'm going to order another one and keep it in my safe deposit box in case my house burns down. I'm going to buy one for everyone I love. AND one for everyone I hate because they just need a good scritchy-scritch on their backs and they'll be good people.
Joann Landers
I have a few things to try on my back.
Nothing has worked
But NOW
bear back WORKS. I love this !
YES YES YES if you need help this is it
You will cry with JOY. ~ I am ~ LOVE ❤️

Absolutely perfect for its intended purpose. I love the width of the scratching cylinder, the fold-out design that makes it super-portable, and the sturdy feel that sadly many hinged products lack. If you're still using old-fashioned "tiny hand" scratchers I highly recommend swapping out for this one.
"wks1"
Definitely liked and the best back scratcher ever.
Peter A.
If I could give this more stars I would. I would have gladly paid twice the asking price & been happy. Many brands have either metal or wood teeth. This one has flexible yet form bristles. OMG! You will love this back scratcher. BUY IT, You won't be disappointed.
Rosie’s Mom
This folds for travel and is sturdy after opening it up to use. The bristles are firm, but they have rounded ends, so they do not scratch the skin. We have bought several already to keep in a suitcase, leave at the cabin, and put in each bathroom for shower use!

It has happened to all of us. You itch in places you cannot reach! This backscratcher is well made. Looks good and it certainly does the job! Instant gratification. Ohhhhs and Ahhhhs coming from everyone who uses it. Definitely recommend this product. YOU ARE GOING TO NEED ONE ANYWAY. So just get it.

I was looking for a back scratcher and instead found a back scratcher, plus! This is a body brush to be used in or out of the shower, all over the body. It feels so good in every area I used it. It is foldable making it ideal for travel, not requiring much space. Unfolded, it extends from shoulder to hips and across the entire width of the back. I was so eager to use it and didn't read the instructions and info provided when unfolding it. I thought I'd break it at the hinged area where it unfolds and opens to its full length. This is covered on an info insert. The bristles are firm enough yet soft enough to provide that ahhhhhh feeling while using it. I love it, can't ya tell?
Patty
I have acne on my back that is very bad at times. I have tried many different back scratchers, but Bearback is by far the best. It's slightly curved so I can easily reach beyond my backbone to scratch. The bristles are just right, not to hard nor to soft. It also folds so I can travel with it. I love it!
Jennifer Parker
I love everything about this back scratcher. The curve of the handle makes it perfect for reaching your back from upper to lower. The “bristles are perfect for a good scratch without being painful. The scratching part is wide which allows a larger area of scratching. It folds so it’s easier to store.
This has been perfectly designed and is quality. It should last a very long time.

I almost didn't order this due to so many disappointments with this type of device -- I am SO glad I finally did. It not only works -- it is pretty much saving my sanity. BACKGROUND: Diabetes causes very dry skin, and I am elderly -- dry skin is a given anyhow. My skin is also very fragile, very thin. Throw in fibromyalgia that any kind of harsh contact can set off -- and you get my situation. The dryness of my skin caused my back to itch till I thought I'd lose my mind. Dermatologists couldn't do anything to help. Their creams did nothing. I was cursed with a maddening itch that would start and then spread all over my back. I also suffer from bad arthritis, and I could not reach the places that itched. For over TWO DECADES, I have dealt with this. I would have some days that would be ok, but the rest -- just a horrible and maddening itch. Regular backscratchers did NOT work. They were brutal and hard and tore my skin. The bristles on this new type of backscratcher don't hurt me at all. They are gentle on my skin. And the itching stops in seconds with a good scratch -- it doesn't continue for days and days. I don't think anybody who hasn't had this experience can understand what a blessing this is. I'm so grateful to the maker of this and am telling everyone I've met who has a condition like I have. I worked in marketing as my career. I sure hope the people who make Bearback are marketing to elderly. There's a big market for this out there.

My back itches in the middle of the night; I visualize running panic-stricken to a neighbor to plead for a good scratch! (Of course they would report me for terminal dermatological insanity!) The relief is pretty immediate; I keep it close by! Hurray for the Bearback!

You MUST try this!! I purchased this awesome tool about a year ago. The long and gently curved Bearback Back Scratcher reaches everywhere I need it to go. The very small rounded tips of the bristles enable strong solid pressure which yields an extremely satisfying scratching and soothing of the back. I apply pressure as hard or soft as I want to give me just what I need in any area on any day. (Plus, it folds in half to enable easy storage for a trip.) My back thanks me every time.

This thing is a life saver. I have neuropathy and sometimes I start itching all over my body, especially in places I can't reach. I live alone so don't have anyone to scratch my back for me. I was going crazy the first time it happened. After searching online for a good back scratcher I settled on this one. And I am so glad I did. The bristles are firm enough to attack the itch but soft enough to use on bare skin. The angled handle makes reaching areas on the back simple. And it folds down so about a foot long. I've tried bamboo scratchers, but they're too rough for bare skin and break easily. Also had cheap plastic with teeth that break easily and are very rough on the skin. This thing is perfect as far as I'm concerned.

The ultimate back scratching experience!

Bearback is amazing. I’d only get rid of mine if I somehow lost my back in a tragic accident. But for real, great product, and I appreciate the quick shipping.
Miranda Mae
Back scratcher is great plus the other products like the dog scratcher- my dog loves it! Always high quality.
Why I’m broke
This thing is exactly what i was looking for. I bought the cactus back scratcher on a stick and it wasnt what i wanted, that one is more bulky and stiff/hard. For me, (i use it on bare skin) the cactus one hurt more then it scratched. My personal opinion the cactus is more for over the clothes and this bearback scratcher is more for on the bareskin. This thing actually feels scratchy, not rigid and bumpy like the other. I had a cheap dollarstore metal backscratcher and it worked fine for the year or so i had it. Until the end snapped. I would definitely encourage you to buy this one. Worth every penny spent! I laughed at myself when i ordered it because of the price tag but its definitely WELL worth it. I was worried the balls on the end arent going to be scratchy enough, but they are! Its got a nice size, nice Comfy weight to it. The folding mechanism works awesome. Feels very sturdy. LOVE that it has a lifetime warranty! It feels good everywhere, through my hair, arms legs etc. such a nice relaxing feeling. I’m going bearback for life!

TLDR: Scratch n release. While not as hand looking or claw like as other back scratchers, this is one does the job and it feels nice n gentle. Handle allows you to hit anywhere on your back. Worth getting 2
The Review:
This is semi-genius. Get a spike knob brush for long hair, and put a handle to reach all places on your back. I remember using my sister's brush (with the knob spikes) and it was great, until she found out and got mad. Oh well I was a kid. I even got a PVC pipe and lined it with extra neoprene to make a long handle (this was after my sis noticed the handle sticky from the duck tape and the bamboo backscratcher I used as a handle).
The curved handle is pretty good idea, and helps angle so you get max back scratcher effectiveness. Much more than the bamboo or wooden ones. My mom's Flip-pino, so that pretty much makes me Flipino, and we have tons of those wooden / bamboo back scratchers. But they are not like this bear back.
The bearback is more comfy, and if you scatch hard, it won't cut the skin (like the wooden ones or claw ones)
Note: when I put mine to the extend, it made a loud pop. I thought I broke it, but I didn't. I could see after a few hundred or so snaps, it might get loose, but so far after 20 snaps its fine.
The handle has rubber section so that's a plus. You can also flip it and go side ways to reach the middle of the back (where the spine is) and it fits in there just right (for me).
This thing also is a pretty dang good brush / scalp massager, but if you got long hair, you'll have to pull the hairs out.
Its also easy to clean (I use with a dish washing brush) by rinsing with water and soap. I didn't put in the dishwater so don't know if this is dishwasher safe
If you scatch with clothes on, you won't feel this as the clothes will dull the sensations, but you can stick down the collar for skin feels.
My homie has eczema or psoriasis, and he got one and says he uses that (he says fingernails tend to dig at the sores, he keeps good scratcher on the fingers for fingerstyle guitar) to scratch himself and its gentle enough for that.
I would get another one. Nice device and not only scratches but gives a bit o' massage. Which is good in my book.

Best back scratcher I’ve ever owned! Never buying any other brand. Also a great gift if you are looking for something unique.

My back has itched for weeks. I am single and my dogs don’t seem interested in scratching for me. I went online to buy a traditional bamboo scratcher and saw the Bearback. Took a chance. Amazon Prime had it here next day. This thing is amazing!! You can scratch hard but not feel like you are taking your skin off. It also covers a lot of space in one swoop. Really was worth it! More compact to store in a drawer also than the traditional bamboo scratchers!
Jamie Meager
Amazing product we use ours ever day. Highly recommend for that itch you cant reach.
Mike Allen
Bearback's got your back! Great back scratcher, unlike others, this is built to last.
I bought 2, one for my wife and I and one for the neighbor. She loves it like we do and uses it everyday.
